About Us

Rick Haayen founded Music at Work in May 2014, he grew up on both sides of the Atlantic, becoming equally fluent and at home as an American in Holland or a Dutchman in the US. Combining both cultures and experiences has given him a unique international perspective, Rick has worked over 30 years in the international entertainment industry both in Europe and the United States.

Having worked at major labels (Universal Music Group in USA + Europe) as well as independent labels (CNR + V2 Benelux in Europe) and management firms (The Entertainment Group & Montana ECI), Haayen decided to set up his own firm, Music at Work – a management & consultancy firm that represents successful artists & producers in the global Pop and Dance music scene, singer-songwriters from all genres, and also provides label services, legal services, song pitching & publishing options for the entertainment industry at large.

Multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and artist Jonasu has in a short space of time seen himself climb to the forefront of the rising stars list in the Pop and Dance music world. Cimo Fränkel is a songwriter, producer and artist who has contributed to songs that have amassed over 2 billion streams worldwide. Songwriting and production credits include the multi-platinum single ‘Sex’ by Cheat Codes & Kris Kross Amsterdam which has over 700 million streams on Spotify alone. Also, Hardwell, Snoop Dogg & Conor Maynard’s hit ‘How You Love Me’, CMC$ & OMI’s single ‘As Long As I’m With You’, and Lucas & Steve’s smash ‘Where Have You Gone (Anywhere)’. Yoshi Breen

Yoshi Breen is an award-winning Dutch songwriter, vocalist and producer. He has a rich history of playing in bands and has now shifted his focus to a fulltime songwriting career. He started writing songs at the age of 9 and has been around the globe to collaborate with and work for internationally recognized artists. Yoshi is an all-rounder and multi-instrumentalist. He has written and co-produced for artists such as Rita Ora, Tiësto, Karol G, Martin Garrix, Alok, Dynoro, Armin van Buuren, Lost Frequencies, Hardwell, Snoop Dogg, Conor Maynard, Sam Feldt, Majestic, Emma Heesters, Martin Jensen, FAULHABER, Möwe, Rompasso, KSHMR, The Him, MOGUAI, Jack Wins and many more.

Jesse Hydro

Jesse Blokdijk is a songwriter and artist from Utrecht, the Netherlands. Over the years, he has developed a strong focus on songwriting, especially in the dance music scene, where his talent for writing lyrics stands out.
As an artist, Jesse works on two projects. With Jesse Hydro, he creates viral English versions of Dutch folk and pop music, earning over 3 million views on TikTok. His dance project, Dela Utca, launched in March 2024, has already reached over 10 million Spotify streams. His music is released under labels like Soave, V2 Records, and MAIN Music.
In May 2024, Jesse signed with publisher Nordic Music Partners, to further develop his career internationally. He is currently working on new English music for Jesse Hydro with Yoshi Breen and Jason OK, who are known for hits with Rondé and Emma Heesters. With these collaborations, Jesse is aiming for a strong year in 2025.
