With decades of international experience, Rick Haayen brings an unparalleled strategic vision to the publishing world. Born and raised on both sides of the Atlantic, Rick has worked across the global entertainment industry for over 30 years, holding senior positions at major labels such as Universal Music Group (USA & Europe) and leading independent companies like CNR, V2 Benelux, The Entertainment Group and Montana ECI. In 2014, he founded Music at Work. Through his extensive network and business acumen, Rick continues to shape careers and maximize global opportunities for talent.
On the creative front, Yoshi Breen is an award-winning songwriter, vocalist, and producer with a prolific track record across genres and continents. Known for his melodic instincts and versatility, Yoshi has co-written global hits such as “Don’t Be Shy” by Tiësto & Karol G (over 900 million Spotify streams), “Burn Out” by Martin Garrix, and “On & On” by Alok & Dynoro. His work consistently tops airplay charts — from the Netherlands to Germany — and spans collaborations with artists like Snoop Dogg, Armin van Buuren, Lost Frequencies, Emma Heesters, Rita Ora, and many more. His music is also widely synced by brands including AXE, Mini, Samsung, and San Miguel.
Together, Rick and Yoshi form a powerhouse team. At HAP, we believe in combining high-level strategy with genuine artistry to foster long-term, international success for our writers. Whether it’s through co-writing camps, global pitch strategies, sync licensing, or cross-genre collaborations, HAP is where creativity meets opportunity.
