RICK HAAYEN TO LAUNCH MUSIC AT WORK BV
After working at Montana ECI BV for 2 1/2 years with great success, Rick Haayen will embark on a new adventure. Effective June 1st 2014, Haayen has launched his own company Music at Work BV. With this new firm, Rick will continue managing a variety of artists in the music, arts and entertainment community. The focus of Music At Work BV will be broader than Rick’s work at Montana ECI. Music At Work will, for example, be more active in general entertainment & arts consultancy but will also continue to represent global stars Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.
Rick Haayen and Hugo Langras (founder of Montana ECI) will also continue to work closely together. Per June 1st 2014 they will co-manage Dutch DJ/Producer duo Bassjackers and they will continue to develop new projects and ventures in the future.
Long time college friends Langras & Haayen joined forces in January 2012 and have seen the rise of Montana ECI into what is now a major player in the management sector for artists, composers and producers of electronic music.
Rick: “I am very thankful for the 2 and half years I spent with Hugo and the entire team and Montana ECI. I’m proud to have been part of growing that firm into the successful international player that it now is. I am also very excited to have this opportunity to start my own company, and seeing as Music at Work and Montana ECI will continue to work together on various projects, this is anything but a goodbye.”
Hugo: “Rick is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable entertainment professionals I know. Over the course of the last two years, we helped many artists become household names in the dance music industry. We’ve had an amazing run! Rick felt the need to be more leading and to be able to use his broad musical experience in ways that the strategy of Montana ECI could not always accommodate. Rick setting up his own firm, with which Montana ECI will continue to work closely, is a perfect solution for both of us. We will continue to work together on many projects, most importantly, co-managing Bassjackers. I am certain this new way of working together will create amazing synergies.”
